Interview coaching
(for Mid-Senior level professionals)
You got the interview. Now let’s make sure your experience comes across as strongly in the conversation as it does on your resume.
I’m a senior HR Partner and Recruiter with 12+ years of experience interviewing and hiring candidates across North America and Europe. In this 1:1 interview coaching session, we’ll prepare for your actual interview, practice the questions you’re likely to face, and identify what’s working, and what may be costing you offers.
You’ll learn how to:
• Tell your career story without rambling or sounding rehearsed
• Answer behavioural and difficult interview questions with strong, relevant examples
• Position your experience for the specific role you’re targeting
• Handle questions about career gaps, termination, job changes or other uncomfortable topics
• Navigate recruiter screens, hiring manager interviews and final rounds
• Discuss salary and compensation with confidence
This Session is for you if
You’re getting interviews, but not offers
Something is getting lost between your experience on paper and how you communicate it in the room. We’ll figure out what.
You haven’t interviewed in years
Maybe you’ve spent years with the same company, were previously recruited through your network, or simply haven’t had to interview in a long time.
You struggle to talk about your achievements
You know you’re good at what you do, but when someone asks to walk them through your experience, you have a hard time to convey your impact and value.
You have an important interview Lined up
Even better! We’ll work with the actual role, job description and company so you’re not preparing for some hypothetical list of “top 20 interview questions.”
inside of the interview Preparation call
1. We analyze the opportunity
Send me the job description and your resume before the session. I’ll use them to understand what the employer is likely evaluating.
2. We work on your positioning
Your “tell me about yourself,” career story, strongest examples, motivation for the role and the messages you want the interviewer to remember.
3. We run a realistic mock interview
Not generic questions, but those based on your target role, seniority and background.
4. You get HR-level feedback
I’ll tell you where your answers are strong, where you’re losing the interviewer, what you’re over-explaining, underselling or simply not answering.
5. We prepare for the uncomfortable stuff (if any)
Career gaps, layoffs, termination, short tenures, salary expectations, weaknesses, job changes and whatever else you're worried they'll ask.
6. We navigate salary questions and different compensation scenarios using practical insights from my HR experience — including the kind of context and perspective you’re unlikely to find in generic interview advice.
