How to handle any pre-important event panic

SIMPLE WAY TO HANDLE ANY PRE-IMPORTANT EVENT PANIC

Okay, it's happening tomorrow! - your event, that you have been getting ready for so long.

Something extremely important. And you thought you were ready, but now you are freaking out and can't eat or sleep, your hands are sweating... It's kind of that pre-exam panic that you remember from school. Sounds familiar?

There's a lifehack I've been using for years so far, and it still works. But before I share it with you, I'll let you read the quote from a wonderful book "A mind for numbers" by Barbara Oakley, the American professor of engineering.

“I tell my students to face your fears. Often your worst fear is not getting the grades you need for your chosen career. How can you handle this? Simple.

Have a plan B for your alternative career.

Once you have a plan for the worst contingency, you'll be surprised to see that the fear will begin to subside.

Study hard up until the day and then let it go. Tell yourself: "Oh well let me just see how many questions I can get right. I can always pursue my other career choice. That helps release stress so you actually do better and get closer to your first career choice."

Have you caught the main idea? :)

If you are stressing out because of a deadly important event coming up soon, try to imagine the worst thing that can happen.. and live through it. What would you do if that happened? Where would you go? Get your backup plan ready and you'll feel much more at ease.

Do you feel stressed out before important events, my friends? Or are you able to remain calm and sleep like a baby?
